Finally, I get a moment's rest from the super-duper stressful last couple of days.

As many of you know, my town house is now almost completely empty. This all thanks to Patrick, Chris, and John K. They all worked really hard helping me move all my junk into a POD. I stayed working later that night, and went back on Monday for another four hours ( Read more... )

It is hard to believe that if don't have electricity by Monday, it will have been two (2) full weeks since Wilma blew it away.  During this time I have also had no cable or access to the internet other than work or relatives.  This is crazy!

I've added some pictures, of the damage to my car, to my photo gallery. I'll also be adding pictures of damage to my home and around the neighborhood.

I checked with my neighbor this evening by telephone to confirm that our power is still out. I had to call them because I've not been home for a few days. I spent Wednesday evening at Jim's sister's house; Thursday at my sister's house; and this evening, I am at my father's house ( Read more... )
